UFC vs Pride
 

Which promotion have the best fighters & more brutal matches. I been watching MMA since the debut of UFC on ppv when it was $10. I want to know which promotion have the better ppv lately?

Pride IMO, I love the tournaments

in the past few months, ufc has had the better ppvs due to better matchmaking....pride's matchmaking lately has been on the rocks, but pride usually has the better ppv overall.

If it's PPV we're talking, UFC has been doing much better, yes. If you're wondering where the best fighters are, overall, you are looking at Pride.

Well in the HW and LW divisions PRIDE has it hands down.. In WW, MW and LHW UFC has it hands down... Pride has Bushido and Pride events... UFC just has UFC and the TUF series... Overall copetition Pride probably edges out UFC because Pride has the best division in the world with their HW division.. has the best fighter in the MMA as to date... But UFC's WW division is unbelieveable.. i mean theres nothing in the rest of MMA as far as WW that could touch the UFC's Division Combined... So to each their own they both have Gr8 PPV's and good fighters... Depends on the persons preference...

kdude, i dont know how u can say the matchmaking has been bad in pride, i think its more a fact of it hasnt been as good as it was. the ppvs are still much stronger in terms of fighter skill and stronger fights overall IMO. the bushido shows have been amazing since number 7 and the last pride ppv was stacked. 31 was pretty bad but other then that they have been solid. i dunno how many of you can get the heros shows. but their last three or 4 have been IMO the best of any of the promotions in terms of excitment and solid fights. their last ppv which had the mw tourny fights and "kid" flying ko was amazing. i recomend dowloading if you can.

Yea you're right kass, it would be more accurate to say that the matchmaking in pride isn't as good as it was. and i was speechless when i saw that flying ko from kid.

kdude did you see the rest of that ppv? because akiyama looked like the real deal as well. but ya "kid" is the fucking real deal and if he wins the mw tourny again should in my eyes be in top 3 p4p. the tourny is stacked.
