Babalu doesnt have to work on his standup.. hes not a world class striker and doesnt have to be, his standup is good for his fighting style.. hes a Jui-Jitsu fighter.. there comfortable on there backs.. Tito takes him down its not gonna be easy for him to just GnP'd him and he could get caught.. watch some of Babalu's fights hes submitted a lot off his back on top of this hes got good takedowns.

babalu is a very good fighter i hope he comes back and fight again in the ufc

I'm aware that Babalu is a great submission specialist (the ufc said it enough) and that he has very good takedown ability, but I believe his standup could be so much better. He hit Chuck and Chuck said it didn't even hurt him and you got to believe him. P.S. I have seen his fights.

tito will get ko'd rd 1...right now i'm not sure who in the ufc can beat chuck...tito vs. Babalu would be a much more entertaining fight, with babalu prob submitting him....

I think the original question here was can Tito beat Chuck and the simple answer is yes, wiht a club while Chuck is asleep. But not in the octagon. Right now the only way someone could beat Chuck is by being a better striker then him. People say that he can't fight on the ground, but who really cares, no one can get him to the ground. I think that the UFC should go to K-1 and see who they have that would be willing to fight Chuck, striker vs striker and see what happens. I think someone with hard, crisp punches might be able to put Chuck out.

the last time Chuck fought someone outside the UFC he got his ass kicked. THe problem right now with the LHW division is they dont have any strong strikers to fight Chuck. And when they do find him an opponent who might have a chance, the opponent tries to stand with Chuck or chase him around the octagon and they just end up getting knocked out. As for the thread, yes I think Tito has a chance to beat Chuck. And hopefully when they fight, he actually sticks to a good game plan instead of just walking into Chuck's plan.

Of course Tito has a chance to beat Chuck, as much as some people don't like Tito they have to admit he is one of the best in the world. I think he stands a much better chance against Chuck then Sobral ever did. Tito is a better wrestler then Sobral so I think he stands a much better chance of taking Liddell down. But the real trick to beating Liddell would be to just surive the first 2 rds, a lot easier said then done, then Tito should be able to out work Liddell because his cardio is much better.

everyone said that babalu was going to take down chuck then sub him.......but you have to remember that tito is going to stand with him for a while and chuck will hit him........tito should be looking for the take down early because if he stands with chuck for two miniutes he will get rocked
