Stating either fighter has a "weak chin" is a horrible misapplication of the term.
Getting KO'd by fighters who are at the top of the striking game is a far cry from having a weak chin. Weak chins get KO'd by glancing, off-target shots, often thrown by inferior fighters. Both Chuck and Wandi have losses [TKO, KO] to some of the best in the industry.
That being said, either fighter can win this. Either one has vicious KO power. I'm going with Wandi, as he clearly and convincingly is better standing...he's a better technical striker, he has better stand-up defense, and he mixes up his attacks better than Liddell has shown recently.
Liddell may surprise the world by showing up in shape and actually throwing a kick or ten if he wants to win this. If he doesn't, he's going to have to catch lightning in a bottle by not only weathering Wandi's inevitable barrages, but also catching him with a big shot. Chuck has great KO power, from odd angles, and with either hand, but his Kenpo stance hasn't stood up to a technical standup fighter.
I'm taking Silva 66% to Liddell's 33%, particularly if it somehow goes to a third round.
I do think we'll get first round stoppage, but anyone who think's a KO in this fight "proves" either fighter has a weak chin has no idea what they are talking about.
