Yeah they really have endless match up possiblities right now in the middlweight division. I want Tanner to get his head back on straight in get in the mix as well. He still has some left in the tank. I also hope they bring back the 2 WEC guys Levens and Smith. They deserve another shot or 2.

I remember thinking this on Saturday night when Lister was being interviewed after his fight. Isn't his frame just a tad too large to be dropping down to 185? I just can't see him wrestling anywhere under 205, but maybe I'm wrong.

if you look at his body at 205 he got a lot of flab though so him cuttting to 205 is much better he probably only walks around a few pounds over 205 normally so thats to light to be fighting with guys who cut from 225 to get to 205

rich is not overrated never has been, what makes you say that? and what are your reasons? because just stating he is overrated is bullshit. his only loss is to lyoto and hes a bigger guy and one hell of a fighter. his improved since that fight which was three years ago. sure guys you stated could give rich a good fight but they in no way would just go and take richs title. your ignorance is shown my not even stating the best contender at this point which is nate marquardt.

Keep in mind he doesn't like Franklin because his brother LIKES Franklin. Unless I'm confusing my users here.
Anyways Franklin is not overrated, I definetly agree to that. No one is going to tear through Franklin, they have to fight a round by round war with him and prepare to go the distance.

i agree that no one thing is going to beat franklin for sure. what i see is one fighter who is equal to rich on th feet or on the ground controls the fight and keeps were they are better then rich. this is why i think nate can beat rich. i think he is either slighly worse on the feet or equal, but i think he is much stronger the rich and better on the ground so i see him staying on top and controlling the fight from the top.

If Rich Franklin is Overrated, how has he destroyed Evan Tanner on two occasions? Despite major injuries, he beat The Crow with little problem. The scariest knockout I have ever seen? Ask Nate Quarry what that felt like.
Even though I like Swick's chances in the future against Franklin, let ONE of those guys you mentioned over estimate Rich Franklin and you are going to see yet another ugly knock out.

not trying to be an ass, but what makes you even have confidence in swick againt rich? would love to hear your reasons. yes he beat riggs and i give him credit for being a top level fighter in the ufc mw division but giving him a chance againt rich is crazy based on who he has fought and beaten. he better beat leben first before he gets anything.

I guess my theory run along the fact that they are such similar fighters. Both are very well rounded, with Swick being slightly more explosive.
Yet, as I have stated a hundred times it seems like, Swick is still a year or two off.
