| Fedor Emelianenko vs. Kevin Randleman - Holy Cow!
I realize that most people that follow PRIDE has seen this fight before, but I had not. This week's PRIDE Bushido event finally showed it. I have to say with all sincerity
HOLY CRAP!
That Fedor is even conscious after being dropped on his head like that is amazing. That he pulls out an kimura 45 seconds later is just unbelievable. Then he gets up, doesn't jump around or show off, looks at Randleman, and then goes over to make sure he is OK.
I knew this guy was a monster before, but this fight just seals the deal.
I really don't consider myself a bandwagon type person. I like plenty of fighters that are on a losing streak (I was disappointed that they showed Igor Vovchanchyn getting put to sleep by Cro Cop in the highlights package...I kind of dig Igor's style).
Just to even the odds, I think that Fedor's opponents should be able to use a cattle prod.

Yes its one of the most amazing things i have ever seen in a fight, not only Fedor surviving that slam but then getting then win right after. But on another note, i know it has been discussed at length on this board; Fedor being unbeatable or beating all of the top HWs in Pride and I think there is one big exception to that. I know this may sound a bit far fetched but what about Mark Hunt? I know Barnett beat him recently but when talking about who has a chance to beat Fedor i have rarely see Hunt mentioned. I think if Hunt could manage to keep it standing and avoid getting on his back, he would have a decent chance. The guy has the best chin on anybody i have ever seen and very heavy hands. I honestly think he would atleast have A chance to KO fedor. Not saying i would bet on it or anything but i think he has the best chance of anyone out there right now.

I saw the Cro Cop fight and he took 2 or 3 good shots to the head from that sledgehammer that Filipovic calls a left leg. Combine that with getting your own body weight plus whatever momentum Randleman had behind that slam crushed on your head and still not even getting phased...
If or when a KO happens to Fedor, it will either be the best shot anyone has ever throw in MMA or the luckiest shot, it definitely won't be a half assed one.

Speaking as someone who has actually been suplexed, when you knopw what it feels like its not that bad, and honest to God, it is nothing like a good punch to the face. Hunt has a very good chance if he trains with Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell and anyone else with outstanding takedown defense everyday twice a day for two months before the fight.

Also...Fedor didn't land on his shoulders and upper back, he landed on his head and neck.
Also...like in my last post...he took Cro Cop's kicks without flinching.
It will be interesting.

Two months of takedown defense is not enough to beat Fedor. If he could stand with CroCop, he can stand with Hunt. Honestly, Fedor puts Hunt on his back and subs him in rd. 1.
The person with the best shot to beat Fedor is Barnett.

It wasn't a suplex, it was a perfect form motherfuckin' RANDLEPLEX. And it doesn't prove that Fedor is invincible, it only shows that if he didn't tuck his head in he would've been put in a wheelchair.

id noticed that fedor doesnt do that good aginst great wrestlers like coleman and randallman, the will slam his ass so hard on the ground only to be submitted a couple of seconds later. i wonder how he would do aginst a top wrestler with as much sub skills as he does.
