Looks like a great card of fighters, I think Fedor would beat Arona, he couldn't strike Arona's head on the ground in the first fight, and gnp is a big part of what Fedor does in the guard, big difference this time imo

Arona's got good takedowns, and an unbelievable top game. I don't think Fedor will be able to sub him off his back. Fedor's got the advantage when he's on top w/ GnP, but Arona is dangerous off his back too. Fedor should win this fight on the feet, but I give the advantage on the ground to Arona. If these 2 were to fight i'd guess Fedor will only be about 5 lbs heavier than Arona... I like this matchup actually but Fedor should be fighting Barnett asap.

Arona should have won their first fight, is only a couple of pounds lighter than Fedor, has a lot of experience and a great style to beat him. Hong Man fight sounded like a bad joke but this would be the biggest challenge of Fedors career after CC and Big Nog. And Arona might be even bigger problem than Nogs b/c he has better takedowns. I would be very exited to see this as fedors comeback fight!

Looks to be a great card, definatly worth getting. Should be a good show. People need to stop getting mad a Fedor, he hasnt fought in a while, maybe he wants a tune up fight first before he faces a Barnett or a Randy.

you cant be serious!! arona the toughest fight since cc and big nog, he is no where in the league of fedor, i just laugh when people start hating on fedor, if barnett wanted to fight him he would same with everyone else, the only guy to really step up and say he wants to fight fedor is Randy, honestly who would REALLY want to fight fedor, i dont post much on this site, i love reading the good conversations, but honestly, arona beating or even being a bad matchup for fedor is absurd, i kinda rember rampage slamming him through the mat, but i could be wrong j/k i just cant wait till fedor fights what alot of people here call a "real" fighter then we'll see who is on his ass again, and last time i checked every fighter he beat has beat plenty of fighters along the way, so im really curious to hear what constitutes a "real" challenge?

If I remember, that Fedor-Arona fight was under special rules that restricted punching. Either no punching standing or on the ground, can't remember. But neither guy was able to use his full offense...it was basically a match to see who could apply the most submissions. It wasn't a true MMA fight.

Interesting..
Arona and Fedor fought before, if it was today's MMA rules, Fedor would have lost (that's right, I said it).. I wouldn't mind seeing this rematch.
