ok, im not counting Hughes out. he's champ for a reason, but holy sh*t people! all you people saying in other threads that Hguhes will beat BJ by submission seriously need to get CAT SCANS immediately! BJ has never been finished. all of his loses are by decision. Hughes has come a long way in his submission game, but suggesting him submitting a grappler like BJ is just plain ignant! if he wins this fight, it will be either by TKO or decision. the only submission to come out of this fight will be from BJ, again!

my prediction...BJ had and still has Hughes' number. BJ by Sub!

ya ur right im guilty of that cause i wasnt thinking, because hughes wins almost as much fights by sub then tko from g and p. but ur right bj is better with subs, so hughes wont submit him and bj has way better standup. but id have to take hughes by tko from g and p, or by decision which i dont think it will make it to decision. bj is matts biggest threat besides gsp but hughes wont overlook this fight at all.

Penn by sub. Hughes time as champ is coming to an end. If not Penn then GSP. I hope Penn really finishes him decisively, because he isnt going to get a decision. Penn is dangerous, he is pissed about losing to GSP.

Now we wait 24 days.

I'm one of those people who said Hughes by submission. My reason for this is his quickness and strength. He can pull out a submission out of nowhere (look at his fight with GSP, and St.Pierre is a wizard on the ground). I just think that Hughes has worked very hard on his submission game and is learning from one of the best in Jeremy Horn. I can see where you're coming from, and I'll admit it's probably unlikely that Hughes will submit BJ but I'm gonna stick with my original prediction and say Hughes by sub. I can just see it happening.
