I don't know about y'all... But I would REALLY like to see the UFC start having a free show on Thanksgiving, schedule it for after the NFL games on SPIKE TV! Make it with a huge main event, the caliber of a show you would see on PPV... I think it would be HUGE hit!


What do you think?

note*** I would have made this a poll... but couldn't make it work... lol

I was about to scold you for this being posted here, as well as one already being posted in Off Topic.... but it is about MMA..


I think a better idea would be for UFC.com to take a poll and play a 2 hour UFC Unleashed of the top X fights voted for and played during that 2 hours (or even 1 hour and a half).

Fights can be from PRIDE or UFC. Imagine having Fedor vs. Cro Cop, Couture vs. Sylvia, Wanderlei vs. Rampage, Shogun vs. Lil Nog, and Forrest vs. Bonnar all on the same show.. that would be pretty cool.

Or maybe even, a replay of the best matches of the year up to that point.



UFC doesn't need to put on any more live events IMO.. there are enough

That would be cool too... but I am not saying add another live event, but to schedule the November show next year for Thanksgiving, and make it free.... A loaded card, title fights, the whole 9 yards.... A way for the UFC to THANKS to all their fans!... I think I will email them and see what they say... I will post a response if I get one!

It would be a great idea but I have 1 problem. Fighters not being able to take advantage of the food. You dont want to eat a bunch before a fight and afterwards your jaw might be broken. I love thanksgiving so much I would hate to think of any american fighter not getting to celebrate.
