to whoever mentioned Wandy and Shogun, neither have one hitter quitter power like Chuck. they gets knee and kick KOs, TKOs by beating the shit out of them, but not single punch that knocks them out cold
i would say the single hardest hitter is Tank. if you can KO cabbage, you are a ridiculous human being

But really Tank was the man. One punch and you were gone. I remeber watching a special on him before he fought Cabbage and he was doing sets on the bench press at like 400 lbs. That's freaking amazing | Actually, he was benching 600 pounds for 1 rep in the video I saw.
Tank use to be one of my favorite fighter to watch until he started just getting owned by people that would actually cross train. He was great for back in the day when a 1 demensional fighter could win.

ya tank was a beast but id have to say that sapp is stronger. tank wasnt that good of a striker but his punches were so powerful if u got cought there was no way that u would recove. but ya mike tyson in the late 80's had the most devistating punching power. but i wasnt talking about boxers, cause lets be honest almost all top professional boxers would have stronger punches then a top mma striker.

| don't forget about...
arlovski breaking both of justin eilers hands by simply punching them as eilers tried to cover up. Arlovski needs to continue to toughen up his chin and he needs to regain his confidence with a couple of wins but the guy's punching power cannot be denied. remember his k.o. of paul buentello and how he rocked cabbage in thier fight?
