|  Strange Knock Out Question
Has anyone ever been in the bottom position of a full guard (or even a half guard) and knocked out the person in the top position? I would think that it would be near impossible to get enough force to do it, but then again, I have seen some strange things since I started watching MMA.

I beleive Anderson Silva did that against..... i cant remember his name tho. You'll have to give me a second.

I remember seeing somebody do it in a highlight clip...but can't remember who. I didn't think it was Anderson, but maybe.

it was like a kotc and anderson trough a weird kick from the bottom and knocked him out but he got disqualified cause i dont think you can kick to the head from the bottom there

he was probably pissed that he got dq'd. I don't think david loiseu has ko'd anyone from the bottom but he has gotten wins by tko from cuts due to elbows from the bottom.

I don't believe that was KOTC. It was ROTR 8. Anderson silva was disqualified because he landed a kick to the head while Yushin okami was on his knees. I believe it works the same rules as the UFC. Had okami been standing when that kick landed i believe it would have counted, but he was on his knees when the kick landed.
