Default Hallman the lasted to test positive...in CA

- HALLMAN TESTS POSITIVE FOR STEROIDS
Thursday, November 29, 2007 - by Damon Martin - MMAWeekly.com

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dennis Hallman, who last competed in StrikeForce defeating Jeremiah Metcalf by submission, has tested positive for Drostanolone and Nandrolone Metabolite, according to Bill Douglas, a representative of the California State Athletic Commission.

Hallman has been fined $2500 and suspended for a total of 1 year.

Bill Mahood recently tested positive for Drostanalone after his fight in StrikeForce in September. Multiple fighters have tested positive in the past for Nandralone Metabolite, with the most publicized case being UFC lightweight champion, Sean Sherk, whose appeal is still pending to the CSAC.

Hallman, a veteran of multiple promotions including the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the International Fight League and StrikeForce, is currently the only fighter to hold two wins over UFC welterweight, Matt Hughes.

isnt it funny how fighters seem to only be testing positive in California lately???

He doesnt strike me as a guy that would use steroids. Its amazing that he beat Matt Hughes twice in under 3 minutes. I really wish these fighters would quit using steroids. It gives the people who dont like MMA more reasons to talk shit.
