Brock just has more talent then Coleman...PERIOD! Coleman is a great fighter, but I kinda see what you are talking about when you say he was "limited". I think Brock is just as strong if not stronger than coleman, faster, and more agile. The only weakness he has is he is raw. Hardly any training as of now. Granted, he is working with some of the top names. If Brock was just a WWE wrestler, I would've laughed when I read this. But, most of us know how experienced Brock is in wrestling (not the fake shit!). I think in a year or two brock will be one of the major forces in MMA.

Brock seems to have potential, there's no arguing that. I think he'll do well.
It would suck really bad if he had a glass chin though.

I thought for sure his neck was broken. I wonder if this will translate in to not having a glass jaw.
Isn't there a biological explanation behind a glass jaw? Something about a nerve that sits behind your jaw bone that if shocked (as if by a punch or kick) causes you to lose consciousness? Just a slight difference in facial structure could cause that nerve to be more exposed or more protected, thus explaining why some fighters can take major hits to the face and others crumble.
Sp Brock handing on his head might not give a fefinitive answer on his jaw, one way or another.

Not to say that he wouldnt learn tons from Gracie but I think for MMA today sticking with Militech would be so much more benefital for Brock. I mean lets face it Hughes started as a Mini-Brock, powerfull oustanding wrestler who developed into the well rounded fighter we know today.
I think K1 announcing Royce training with Brock is just more of a PR thing anyway.

Sp Brock handing on his head might not give a fefinitive answer on his jaw, one way or another. | Accually the reason people get knocked out is from their brain hitting the back of their head when puched, kicked, or bricked. It causes a shock which makes your equilibrium shut down for a moment. The only explaination for a fighter having a really good chin is having a very thick skull like that helmet James Toney has for a head. I can't believe he didn't get knocked out from those damn slegehammers he was hit with from Petters.

That was a great fight for two heavyweights. I think Toney beats the Samuel Peters of one year ago. Al Bernstein was right, Samuel Peters is vastly improved - much better stamina, he throws a lot more punches which score points, and he hits like a fukking mule. Toney's got a set of whiskers on him, that's for sure. I like Peters in a fight against any of those cats from Europe who are the champions now.
I've also read that the thickness/strength of a neck plays a role in ability to take a punch. Could also be a body defense mechanism to shut down when hit. That could explain why fighters don't remember/ don't see, or feel the shot that kayo'd them.
