| UFC 63 card best card in along time, is dana scared of pride in US
The 63 Card is stacked and is happening 2 weeks after Prides OWGP and 2 weeks before Japan's second attack on the US (sorry for the pun just couldn't resist). Is Dana scared of Pride taking fans away from his show? That people may see there is more than just the octagon out there.
I think the competition is good, it will help the sport grow. It will produce better cards and matches. Just waiting to see the 2 big boys send eachothers best against each other.
On paper this is well worth $40-
-Matt Hughes (#1 Welterweight in the world)* vs. BJ Penn (#3 Welterweight)*
-David Loiseau vs. Mike Swick
-Jens Pulver vs. Joe Lauzon
-Jason Lambert vs. Rashad Evans
-Melvin Guillard vs. Gabe Ruediger
-Tyson Griffin vs. David Lee
-Jorge Gurgel vs. Danny Abaddi
-Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Mario Neto
-Roger Huerta vs. Jason Reinhardt

You have to know your competition and since Pride is making moves in the US now, we should be seing better cards for UFC. This is great news for all MMA fans though! And I agree that 63 is looking like one of the best in awhile.

This is a good card ,but not the best card there's been recently.
UFC 64 already looks better.

What exactly do you think looks better with the 64 card?? Of course the Franklin vs. Silva fight. I would like to see the Sherk/Florian fight but I'm just not "thrilled" about it. There is only one more fight rumored for the card and that is the Keith Jardine fight. <--------WHO CARES!

whats wrong with keith jardine..I like him...his fight with bonnar was a sweet fight...his fight with gouviea was pretty good to...and if he really is fighting mike nickels (which does not make sense to me) then we get to see how he finishes a fight...

I don't know about stacked. The 2 main fights look good yes, Pulver's a nice fighter and I'm looking forward to seeing Tyson Griffen. Melvin Guilard is exciting to watch and I think Rashaad is the best young lhw out there. The problem is the guy Pulver is fighting I know nothing about and he could be someone they are just throwing in there to get killed. And can someone tell me why they bring Abaddi back, I can't stand this guy, plus he sucks. It is a nice card but there has been better. Think 52 or 56.

The guy he's fighting has a 13-3 record (11 wins via submissions). On paper, it looks like a good match up but we'll have to wait and see. As for the other fights, I think the two co-main events are going to be great. And the rest of the card looks pretty decent. However, I certainly wouldnt call this a stacked card.
As for Danny Abaddi....who the hell knows why they're putting him on a ppv. He better be on the undercard because I really have no interest in watching either him or the other little arrogant fuck fight (Gurgel) again.
