Now for my next comment, Bob Sapp gets knocked out by much smaller people so I dont think it's nessasary to have a super heavy division. Besides there just isnt any other naturally, Ginormous, in shape people like that.
I wouldn't go as far to say that Ricco sucks. When he's in shape he is very good. As far as the super heavyweight division, it would be great if there were loads of huge guys that were any good competing.....but as it happens there aren't!

bantom and super heavy are possibilities but with limitations on quality fighters, what about an open weight class?

I think the UFC would have to move out of the US to hold an open weight class. None of the State Athletic Commissions will allow it

I don't like the idea. The UFC's HW division is already bad enough as it is ,but with a super HW division alot of the fighters would be split up and such and would make two weaker divisions instead of one weak division.

Not to be rude, but you must be joking about limitations on quality fighters at 145. 265+, no argument from me on weak fighters. But 145 would be absolutely stacked with talent if the UFC wanted it to be. Start following the smaller shows, and you'll see some real talent.

They should just make the heavyweight division unlimited weight.

i cant really argue since i havent seen much of the smaller shows over the last couple of years but it just always seems to me that outside of boxing the bantam weight always seems to struggle, i would still support seeing though

The problem is that there's no $$$ in 145 lb. For example, realistically, Jens Pulver could fight at 145 (I think he boxed around that weight), but there's no money/career there.
