Now for my next comment, Bob Sapp gets knocked out by much smaller people so I dont think it's nessasary to have a super heavy division. Besides there just isnt any other naturally, Ginormous, in shape people like that. | when ricco is in shape hes great and would choke tim out like he said after the waterman fight

I have absolutely no interest in seeing Jimmy Ambriz, Ron Waterman or Eric Pele fighting. Most guys who fight at SHW are out of shape and just pure brawlers.
I wouldn't mind UFC instituting a Cruiserweight division that went from 206-230 and then just make the Heavyweight division go from 231-275.

mark hunt isnt a super heavyweight he weighs 250. thats even ok for ufc standards.
and most superheavyweights can really make hw, its very hard to come across a superheavyweight that isnt able to make it. most of them r just overweight hw's like ricco weighed in the high 240's eariler and a lot of super hw's r just simply overweight. a lot people say that the hw devision is unlike the other devisions because the hw's arent in the best shape and arent anywhere near ripped. but that really isnt the case today in top hw devision, hw fights used to be boring because they would gas in about a minnute but now a days the top hw's r in great shape. the only circumstances is eaither the guy is just a giant above 7 feet and thats understandable or like brock lesnar or bob sapp they r just a muscle monster. only muscle or actual natural size is a good excuse to be a superheavyweight. it sounds exciting cause u think that every fight will include a extremely musclular guy or a very tall giant, but that isnt the case most super hw fights r just two overweight hw's fighting at a slow pase with poor conditioning and out of shape. in fighting sure size is definetly an advantage, that is why they make devisions. the superheavyweight devision should only be for freak shows like tall guys or muscular guys not overweight guys which it usually is.
and its weird to think that the top three ranked hw's in the world could easily make the lhw devision
1.fedor, 233, easily cut off fat and lose the rest before the fight
2. big nog. weights 230, could get more cut and lose the rest before the fight
3.cro cop weights 225 and would barley need to lose any weight at all if any.
aa could also make lhw if he really dedicated himself to it.
try and nameing all the super hw's that couldnt make hw by cutting off their fat. it is a very small list. and as far as lesnar goes dontother fighting orginazations have a higher hw limit? he could lose about 10 pounds of fat and weigh around 280, cabbage said that he walks around at 280 and he makes ufc hw.

Super HW division is just a bullshit from commisions, for F's sake one of pro boxing champions is a 7 foot 320 pound monster and he fights "normal" heavies in US :-/

Clearly Bob Sapp for SHW and Brock Lesner however K-1 owns them both. Not sure on the latest new with Sapp, K-1 and the lawsuit but I would not be at all surprised for Sapp to stay with K-1 when it is all said and done.
If the UFC were to start a SHW division they shuold go after Antonio Silva, 6'4" 300lbs and muscular.

These would be two guys that would bring major buys to the UFC so it only makes sense......at least to me. What do you guys think??? | Maybe UFC could capitalize on this without forming the SHW division. Couldn't a fight be set up between the two like was done with Gracie/Hughes? They called it a catchweight, which was not a term I was familiar with. Anyone know more about this?

bob sapp would be consitered to be at the top of the super hw devision, he was beaten my big nog who could easily make lhw and being outweighed by about 130, a lot of lhw could beat super heavyweights and i think this is the first time that i can say this, but in this case the lower weight devision is probably the more skilled devision, a top hw could easily beat a top super heavyweight. they r out of shape fat guys and a few freak shows
