This might be a stupid question

but why are UFC tickets so expensive? is there a particular reason for that? I know Boxing tickets can get that expensive but atleast there are cheap tickets.

because mostly the fights are in the hard rock which doesnt hold many people so since there arnt many seats the seats they do have are gonna be expensive. if a big boxing ppv was in an arena the size of the hardrock all the tickets would be that price to.

ahh that makes sense I know theres NO WAY id buy a UFC ticket though.. UFC 61 all Ticketmaster showed was 750 dollar tickets.. thats insane!

They keep trying to top their previous gate every show, that's a shortcut in doing so. They keep testing the limits with ticket prices, which they had to go back on because it failed and with PPV prices which keeps going up also. They'll do everything possible until it stops working.
