| would it be different if chuck fought in pride and wandy fought in the ufc
would there records be different if chuck fought in pride and wandy fought in the ufc i think wandy would have trouble cause no kics to the head on the ground in the ufc and i think the octagon is smaller then the pride ring and chuck does good in pride but he seems to have trouble there.Would they still be where they are today give me your thoughts.

I think the octagon suits Chuck better because he can trap his opponent against the cage and destroy them.

Chuck doesn't really trap... He counter punches. At the present time Chuck would have more trouble in Pride because there are more strikers. And when I say "more trouble" I mean he won't run through people in less than two minutes in the first round. In the present, there is no one that can stand with Chuck.
Wandy thrives wherever he goes. He is very well rounded.

i think Chuck wouldnt be as good because of the presence of better strikers in Pride, and he would have trouble getting up against wrestlers in Pride because he normally uses the cage to push his back up against to pop up. he had trouble getting up against Rampage, getting kneed in the body, and other guys would knee him in the head.
Wandy i believe would do just as well, his intensity is insane, and elbows in the clinch would help him just completely use all of his Muay Thai. no knees to the head would not let him utilize his intensity when his opponent is on the ground, the turtle shots wrestlers try would kind of suck, but his guard is active and he could get up.

I don't think Chuck would be as good in PRIDE, and I don't think Wanderlei would be as good in the UFC, but I think Wanderlei would fare a LITTLE bit better than Chuck, just because now he can use those Muay Thai elbows, whereas Chuck can't push people up against the cage anymore.

CHUCK LIDDELL would have more losses because he would've had to fight RAMPAGE a few times and wouldve lost every time. SHOGUN would also beat CHUCK LIDDELL in PRIDE. The competition is harder in PRIDE and CHUCK would not be champion.

Wow your dumb! You trap a fighter by cutting off angles. By the way thats much easier to do in a square.
