| Huerta saw lions during Guida fight. http://mmamania.com/2007/12/09/ufc-q...-tuf-6-finale/ Quote:
“I was hurt. He rocked me, man. I was slightly knocked out but I knew what was going on. I just heard this ringing, and it was the weirdest thing, all I saw was all this hair, I didn’t know if it was a human being or a lion attacking me, then after about 10 seconds I was like ‘Hey Clay’ and it was back on.”
– Roger Huerta on the punch from Clay Guida that nearly ended the lightweight scrap in round two during the main event at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 6 Finale. Huerta managed to hold on and came out in the final stanza to submit “The Carpenter” via rear naked choke. Dave Doyle at Yahoo!Sports.com reveals that Guida “took both of the first two rounds on all scorecards. One judge had the score at 20-17.”
| lol at huerta, he thought he was fighting Simba or some shit.

I dunno i'm still not convinced really.
Guida had him in all sorts of trouble and was very much winning the fight easily.
But this is a 3 round fight and Huerta pulled out the win so fair play to him but I think this will definetly make him look at himself more and train harder to come back a lot better.

damn, one judge scored the fight 20-17? im guessing Rd 2 was the round where it was scored 10-8, cuz Rd 1 was a lot closer imo.
it was still an awesome fight, and i still feel 9/10 times Guida wins that fight. but i still give props to Huerta for putting it on Guida and capitalizing on his mistakes. and like i said, now with this win no more cans for Huerta.

Lightweights usually put on the greatest shows in the UFC. Amazing fight, I had Guida winning the fight until the finish, and as long as he pulled out the 3rd thought it was in the bag. Huerta amazed me though. Im just pissy cuz I had Guida by unanimous decision, wrecked my perfect night asshole hahaha.
What about that J-roc War Machine fight, holy fucking shit.

What about that J-roc War Machine fight, holy fucking shit. | yeah i was pissed too...right up til Guida/Huerta i had predicted all the other main card fights correctly. i thought Guida would have won via UD or TKO...damnitt!
