I used to dislike Penn. And what's funny is, the fight that changed my mind was the fight he LOST to Hughes. Took the fight on fairly short notice and looked so dangerous until the 3rd round. People say it was his ribs and perhaps it was, but Penn admitted he just hasn't been training as he should. Well now it seems that he is. I believe Penn is too much for Joe, and Penn is too skilled and dangerous from any position for a guy like Sherk who isn't capable of finishing even the fighters he dominates all the way though. However, Sherk will outlast Penn. I've never seen cardio quite like his. But even if that happens. Even if BJ gasses say at the end of round 3, what exactly is Sherk going to do? Take him down and....? Penn even in a gassed out state could submit Sherk from anywhere. Sherk isn't capable of finishing Penn. But Sherk could win if he wins atleast one of the first 3 rounds, because I do believe if the fight makes it that far he is very likely to win the last 2. Again assuming Penn doesn't finish him before that.
