Fedor Emelianenko: Dana talks alot and uses words. Let Randy Couture fight me
Quote:
Fedor Emelianenko talked briefly with MMAWeekly and touched on a variety of topics. Here are some of the highlights:
Fedor On Fighting Hong Man Choi On NYE:
I cannot confirm this fight at the moment. I am ready to meet any opponent in the ring.
Fedor On Dana White And A Possible Match Up With Randy Couture:
Dana talks a lot and uses words lightly. Let Randy Couture fight me. Allow this fight that everyone wants to take place. Me, Randy and MMA fans all over the world want it. The only obstacle is Dana. People want to see this fight and I want to meet him in the ring. I have the greatest respect for Randy and have always admired him. I am also thankful that he has such a high opinion of me.
I have to agree with an article I read at Fightlinker the one day. Don't sign to an organization and then call out a guy who you know damn well can't fight you.
If Fedor wanted to fight Randy he had the opportunity to sign with the UFC.
Yeah but many of Fedor's managers claims for why they didn't sign were dumb. Things like he wanted Fedor to be able to pick his opponents and was mad that there were consequences for turning down a fight.

Nicely put Clint. I'm really tired of Fedor and his management. The UFC offered him tons of money to fight and to fight the best heavyweights in the world. He chose to sign on with an unknown company where his Red Devil team would be put on the main cards(probably undeserving of being on the main card because the only 1 from that team I know is Alexander) and somewhere where he could pick his opponents. You can't come back after that and say "Oh...well I want to fight UFC fighters!!". Ok well then you should have signed to the UFC. Continue fighting the Rizzo's & Choi's of MMA and stop calling heavyweights signed to other organizations out.
