UFC and M-1 just aren't anywhere near the same level, and to talk about them and treat them as such is asinine.
There is nothing good to be gained by watching M-1 go bankrupt, in fact all it does is give ammunition to those who wish to see mma fall on its face. That is why I don't like or support them, they have a business plan that is failing before they even put on their first event... why should I support recklessness with my hard earned dollars?
The only reason for the UFC to change its practices is if another organization comes along with a more successful business plan that fans throw their support to. That just isn't M-1 people. |
I even disagree that M1 going under will hurt give ammunition to anti-mma people, because nobody other than dedicated fans have any idea that the org even exists.
