rh | Is explosivity a word? Like I said, Faber has more intangibles than Pulver, plus Pulver seems to be a little brittle with all the nagging injuries. I think Faber's in better shape physically.

i think i would take Faber in this one
the kid is just a ridiculous athlete, with some good wrestling and is getting very good at the overall MMA game.
i dont think Jens can keep up, and would get caught on his back and either get tapped or TKOd.

I think Jens defends the takedowns and beats Faber on his feet, Griffin killed Faber with a simple counter right.. Pulver could mimic that with ease.. considering he has a lot more punching power then Griffin has.
a healthy Pulver is a damn good wrestler, I think its easier for him to stay healthy at 145.. and the only person I see beating him is Kid.

I think Pulver would win via decision. Sprawl & Brawl baby! Jens has good enough takedown D to keep it on the feet, and he's the better striker.

I really like both fighters but I would have to give the edge to Pulver. He was ranked 1 in the world at 145 and has an 8-0 record at that weight. not to mention giving up weight and holding his own against (well winning actually) at 155. I think Pulvers fought tougher opponents and won and has more experience. Has Faber ever beat someone on BJ Penns level? Fabers very resourceful and explosive but if comes in with those wild hooks Pulver will easily catch him. I think its safe to say that Pulvers got the heaviest hands out of all WEC's 145er's. Either fighter could win this fight but I'm giving it to Jens. Dude's real hungry right now.
