| Urijah Faber vs Jens Pulver (not an article)
Why I didnt put this in the dream match section is because it is not a dream match, obviously this matchup is inebitable so instead of making a dream match thread about it, I felt a discussion thread would be a better idea with a poll
Who takes this? why? and what is everyones thoughts on the 145 division?
I gotta go to work now so my thoughts will be simple.. Pulver knocks him out.

Tough call, but I would go with Faber. He just seems too complete of a fighter, although I do concede that Jens has much better boxing. I wouldn't be surprised if Jens KOs Faber, but that would be the only way that I could see Jens beating Faber.

This will be a very good matchup. Jens is way better standing, but Faber is more explosive. Jens isn't very dangerous off his back, and Faber is very good on top. Pulver has decent wrestling, and will be looking for Faber's shot so I see him being able to keep the fight standing long enough to rock Urijah.

Very close fight.
I think Jens has too much experience and confidence at 145.
Jens will escape Faber's wrestling and Faber will avoid enough of Jens boxing to take it to a decision.
I wouldn't doubt if Jens rocks Faber early and then Faber has Jens close to submission later.
In the end...
Jens via split decision.

i don't know man... jens is just as strong as faber imo and has faced bigger and harder competition... faber goes in and uses his wrestling and strength to just dominate his opponents.. i don't think he'll find that to be an option with jens.
and one more thing, faber is just too damn wild. his striking doesn't impress me at all. in the first round when he came in with that wide ass hook, curan caught him first... if curran hit like pulver, might have been an early night for the california kid.
but when they do fight i'll take a one month sig bet and my money's on jens... anyone want that action?

It would be awesome if Jens won, but like atemyhotdog basically, said Faber seems like a more complete fighter. I will be rooting for Jens, but I think Faber will take it.

I don't think anyone can hang with Faber right now @ 145
Jens won't out grapple or sub him, only way is by KO, but still don't see that happening either

Close one to call; Faber comes up with some crazy shit in the ring, and his ground control is sick. Thing is, Jens probably won't let it get to the ground, and Faber can't stand up with Pulver.
Like I said, tough one...I'm calling Jens via 2nd round KO for now.
