Filho needed probably 2 more seconds to break that arm. It takes longer to choke someone out than it does to break someone's arm.. thats why u see fighters tap much later in chokes. I've seen referees stop fights in the past even when the fighter didnt tap and i think its legit bcuz it takes a couple secs to break that arm... a good example is the din thomas fight again jeremy stephens.

and yea maybe filho didnt look that great in most of the fight but how could he? he got rocked really bad from that slam and i truly believe he was out for a couple seconds. He kept his composure really well, survived and still locked in that armbar. It's very tough to come back once u got rocked

personally i was more disappointed with filho in his match with doerkson. Doerkson was doing everything so well, the only thing is that he got rocked with the leather at one point and after a few shots he was out.

you know what their adults and if they want to get injured thats their choice yes the arm was going to break i never argued that but to say that he shouldnt have the choice of whether or not he wants to hold out to the end of the round and risk his arm breaking is his choice and as far as removed from reality it is a well known fact that Forest Griffin had his arm broke in a fight went on to win the fight and is still fighting so that would seem pretty much rooted in reality so if your to much of a pussy to live in that situation then fine say in your opinion but as far as fact and reality let the fighter decide its their body their career.
