There was a rumor, based on an episode of the Savage Dog Show, that there would be another Ultimate Fight Night, in England, on March 8th and that Bisping would fight there at MW. If that turns out to be true, he wouldn't be fighting Tanner at UFC 82.

I think Tanner would settle another score againts Franklin, it's Ohio.

I'll be glad to see Tanner back. He always puts on a good show. I guess that will put an end to all the "Wheres Evan Tanner" threads. lol

i hope he actually fights...he could beat bisping imo...but it would be a fight after such a long lay off...and bisping is going to be decent at mw

I say hand Tanner over to Leben or Okami. Bisbing would still be a great fight for him, but I would like to see both fighters to get a great start in the new division before they fight each other.... You know what I mean?

Just for the record, I think Okami would beat Tanner though...

I think that a 4 fight contract for Tanner is too much. He's had alot of personal problems and I think that there's a good chance that he will not pan out. On the other hand the middleweight division is pretty weak. If he does fight Bisping his 1st fight back, I think it will be bad for him. While I do not think Bisping is as good as he was hyped to be, I do think he'll make a splash in the middleweight divison. He'll will be a beast, being the bigger fighter in most of his matches. Belcher would be a good fight for Tanner's return. I think Leben, after how he looked against Martin, would beat Tanner. The one thing going for Tanner is he's a good ground and pounder. Besides Hendo, he's probally one of the few in the MW division.
