| Anderson Silva's Contract: How many fights does he have left?
And do any of you think he'll win out and go into his next contract talks being, pound for pound, the best champion the UFC has to offer? The guy's got the resume, and if anyone's in any position to decide he wants a pay raise, it's probably going to be Anderson.
Hell, he might start sniffing offers elsewhere - Do you guys see him being the highest paid fighter in the UFC sometime down the line? If Fedor got as much as he did, imagine the kind of offers Anderson could potentially get.

The way A. Silvia has been Whoopin everybody's Ass he deserves 2 get the High Dollar he ask for but u never know.
I Doubt the UFC/Dana White will let A.Silva finish his contract out as a Champ & let him go sumwhere else, they will get a deal done. I could just see Dana makin up an Excuse on one of Silva's fight & Strip him of his belt if Anderson did not sign a new Contract.

That is one of the reasons Fedor didn't want to sign with the UFC, supposedly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they generally have a championship claus that locks a champion into one extra fight if the contract expires while he holds the belt. This prevents champions leaving like BJ Penn did.

The mw division would really be slacking if it wasn't for Anderson.

still is, and tanner and bisbing doesn't help. he's had five fights, usually big name fighters sign for six so i'm sure it's coming up. i think dana would prefer silva to lose to hendo, more marketable.

He may lose to Hendo, but the way he has looked, I am not so sure. hendo is on the downside of his career. He is at the age where he is going to lose explosiveness. His experience will get him through a lot to come, but not through Anderson who is in his prime. Anderson is looking the best he will ever look right now.

The UFC is not about to let Silva go anytime soon. Dana White knows that Americans love fighters that go out there and just knock people the fuck out. And thats what Anderson Silva does. I think the only thing that was holding him back with fans was the fact he was not American. But that is changing as more and more Americans are getting over that fact. After he disposes of Hendo, which he will. Hendo's game is a clinch game and Silva is the best clinch fighter in the world. They will hold to him, he also has a few more interesting match-ups left with Tanner and perhaps Okami. By then maybe Terrell will finally get his act together too. So in short the UFC is not letting him go anytime soon.

silva will be with the ufc for a long time. anderson said himself hes very happy with the way the ufc is treating him, and he moved to the states as well. hes so exciting and such a tough fighter that the ufc needs, no way dana will ever let him go.

i will not be suprised if hendo wins
