If anyone else compares this piece of shit to one of the best movies of all time, The Karate Kid, there are going to be some serious problems.

Karate Kid was classic gold.
This is just a piece of shit movie made by some guy who normally directs flashy music videos for Mtv.

Fight Club- ironically enough- has very little to do with fighting in terms of the theme and actual fighting takes up a very small percentage of the screen time and even less of the novel time... it's insulting to hear this crap being compared to a cult classic like Fight Club.

Sorry if that came off as being a little harsh, but seriously dude... | Fifth person on this board? Or in your day to day life? He's the only person i've seen make the comparison in this thread, and several people said that was far off base. But I agree (as I said earlier) that this is nothing like Fight Club (great movie by the way). Quote: |

It's a guy moving somewhere from out of town and gets his ass kicked. He then looks for somewhere to learn to fight and then matches up with the movie badass at the end to whoop his ass, and there's a girl involved. If that's not jumping on the Karate Kid plot, i don't know what is.
