i dont know, lets see how randy could win, or the skills he brings to this fight thaat other fighters didnt posses when they foguth fedor.
Fedor has never fought a good wrestler with good sub defence. The only good wrestlers hes fought were coleman and randleman both have terrible jits, matt lindland was underweight, and ricardo arona prolly came the closest to beating him.
Randy as we all know has a fantastic top position and has kept a better grappler than fedor (GG) on his back. I think that if in someway randy can catch fedor in a cage he could very well take this fight. However, i think its tough to prepare for a guy like fedor, u need a guy to match his style in every single department, but as well know, randy isnt lacking any training partners LOL

Do you really think that GG is a better grappler than Fedor? Really?
And I wouldn't say that he kept Gonzaga on his back. He pinned him up against the fence most of the fight as I remember it. He spent little time on the ground with GG except at the end when GG was drowning in his own blood from the broken nose.

I mean gonzaga didnt fair all that well at ADCC but hes still a really good grappler. As far as couture and onzaga went, couture didnt lay on him becuz he was so good off his back, how good fedor is off his back, we are yet to see as the only guy to actually get him there and hold him there was coleman and randleman, and there terible jits got em caught.

When Fedor gets beaten, its either going to be to Arlovski or some brand new freak on the block.

Randy would have a tough time holding Fedor down on the ground IMO. If Randy tried to stand with Fedor it wouldn't be good for Randy either, I think Randy would have to try to work the clinch against the cage, and he would still have to worry about Fedors Judo game as well.

I also think the ring this fight would take place in would make a difference. I think Randy has a better chance in the octagon. I think Fedor has a better chance in a ring.

I'm just completely done with this ongoing Fedor/Couture topic like seriously! lol. I mean I love both guys as fighters but tired of all the politics and red tape.

this is the way i look at it.... in the octagon, its hard to call who might win bcuz i havent seen fedor in there... and thats randy's biggest advantage, imposing his willl against the cage
in the ring... i have no doubt that fedor would beat couture.
basically i just want fedor to completely destroy couture... he's the better fighter and i want him to prove it. On the feet and on the ground (both top and bottom), i give it to fedor and i would hate to see him lose to couture
