| Looks like AA is leaving the UFC http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/...=5285&zoneid=2
What is the UFC doing? Cop is a shadow of his former self, Kongo has too many holes in his ground game, Tim is tim, Vera lost to Tim, Nog shoulda been stopped by Heath and has lost to Fedor twice, Gabe just lost to Randy whose also left. There hw division is gonna be shit again.

Nothing is final, they could still iron out a deal. But it definitely looks like AA isn't going to stay around. Hopefully if he does sign with another org it's M-1 so we could see AA vs Fedor.

If he leaves he can go either M1 or HD figths and get a fight with Fedor right away.Or maybe Randy..after october that is.....

If AA and others sign, M-1 could actually turn aout to be a pretty good org if others follow the model of cross-org competition.

When he's on, he's still one of the top 3-5 most exciting HW's in the world.

I would think that the UFC would make him fight his last fight before his contract expires, but maybe they would rather just shelve him for the remainder of his deal.

Although they could have him fight a low tier fighter so it wouldn't matter and they could get something out of him.
I think the problem is he wants more money than his last couple of fights dictate he should get. Don't know the details but he hasn't looked great lately and I like the guy.
I would like to see M1 scoop him up for a Fedor fight, it would be more legitamate than the Choi or any other freakshow they are getting.

i think they should let him fight a top guy... if he loses then the ufc can cast him away. if he wins then if gives them a chance to rethink a big contract... think of it as maybe a tryout.
but they need to negotiate a good deal for both sides before the fight so that if he wins andrei doesnt try and boost up his price.

Yeah AA vs Fedor is the only good thing about AA leaving the UFC.
