what im sayin is i am a bj penn fan, its just i am also a sherk fan and i find myself siding with Sean on this one because of the way BJ is going about this whole buisness. like i said bj has just rubbed me the wrong way somehow
but yes he is smart not to over look stevenson because that could prove to be fatal. daddy is a very able fighter. however if bj comes in focused there aren't many ppl who can stop him.
if the fight does happen i believe sherk will be angry & looking to finish which i think, win or lose, will make a fantastic fight.

Penn is really hyping this fight. It's wise of him not to look past Stevenson but he should be careful; if Joe Daddy beats him he'll be having to pull his foot out of his mouth as Sherk will probably get the first titleshot :\

seriously, BJ is saying all the right things to get under Sherk's skin. he's getting in his head. and while he's focusing on Stevenson, he's still managing to hype a potential match with the current holder of the "steroid championship" LOL
you know how huge that fight will be?
and i think it's pretty obvious from that statement that he wants one more shot at Hughes. and it's a fight that truly needs to happen. Hughes will be putting an end to one of his greatest rivalries on December 29th when he fights GSP...so id say a rubber match with BJ makes all the sense in the world. win or lose, its a great way for Hughes to finish out his career.

i just think that sounds like a comment where you're tryin to think of something really funny but get put on the spot so you say the first think that comes to your head. lol

I used to like both guys but BJ is going about this all the wrong way but I'm pretty sure a BJ fan is going to read this and say that he's right but he isn't. That kind of publicity is bad for the UFC and MMA in general right now. Besides that though, I do believe Sherk

I am just glad somebody is bringing this issue of Sherk taking Steroids some attention. Despite sherk's failed drug test, no one in the UFC has said a single negative thing about the guy. They took away his belt only because of public pressure and even during that announcement, UFC said they stand by their guy. If it was anyone other than Sherk, they would have been cut. Sure sherk is a big draw but this blatant double standard in UFC is wrong. I dont mind seeing Sherk getting some criticism. I think he deserves at least some stick for taking steroids.

I think Penn likes irritating people. He's going to belittle Sherk constantly in the media, and when they fight Sherk is going to wanna rip Baby Jay's head off. That will obviously lead to Penn's advantage, and he'll eventually finish an overaggressive Sherk. It's all psychological here... and I think it'll work to a T.

cant wait for this fight! Sherk will MAUL BJ and it will be great! Here is how I see it...TKO GNP end of 3rd round. Sherk regains title.... BJ test positive for GHB (Date Rape Drug), and is sentences to 6 months of everyone laughing at him for being so arrogant!!!
Sig bet anyone???/ Sherk over Penn?
