well, Sherk couldn't finish Franca who isn't even close to BJ on the ground and Franca is the one fighter in the division whos cardio is worse then Penn's so your theory is a little biased. I think Penn simply puts sherk on his back and does his thing from here, IMO it will be easier for Penn to take down sherk then it will be for Sherk to take down Penn. Sherk wouldnt last longer then Pulver IMO


I think Joe Daddy vs Penn is a more competitive fight style wise

How can you compare the fight with Franca out of all of his other victories??? I guess you could say that Sherks cardio is better than Hughes, and Hughes was able to whether the storm and beat the crap out of Penn... So Sherk should be able to whether the storm easier, and beat down Penn as well right?


I think Sherk is a much better match up than Stevenson is, and I like Stevenson. I wouldn't mind seeing Stevenson beat Penn as well.

well the only other victory he has over someone with good BJJ at 155 would be his victory over Ken-flo, in which he didnt come close to finishing him either. Or his fight with Diaz at 170 where he never really had Nick in a bad position, just on his back. Mind you there is a good chance he was roided for both those fights as well, and besides those two wins and a cut win over Benji Radach way back he has fought cans throughout his career.

Sean Sherk doesn't have better cardio then Matt Hughes, the only 5 rounder that hughes has been in (he actually finishes fights on the ground) was against Sherk and Hughes appeared to be the fresher man after, that was awhile ago so things might have changed but it is only your very biased opinion that Sean Sherk has better cardio now adays, but the Matt Hughes that outlasted Mach and Newton to win it in the 4th round without a doubt had better cardio. Not to mention that it has been well documented that Penn's rib injury led to him being finished.......


and I wouldn't mind seeing Joe Daddy beat Penn either, I think it would be good for mma and I think that we will see Sherk vs Penn regardless. Dana won't miss the chance to put up a fight with bad blood involved.

Penn wasn't afraid to fight the most dominant Champion in UFC history when he fought Hughes.

Penn wasn't afraid of Gomi, the most conististently top ranked LW fighter.

Penn wasn't afraid to fight a 205 pound Machida.

Sherk couldnt even finish Franca on the juice,and Franca isnt even close to BJ on the ground,he couldnt finish Kenflo,he cant finish anyone in UFC.HE HASNT FINISHED A FIGHT IN NEARLY 3 YEARS!!! Bjs better then him on the ground,and Bj is the better striker for sure. The only way,the only chance Sherk has of winning is by doing his usual routine of the very exciting art of LnP.
