It's a building process, the first UFC shows were not very shit hot. time will tell, if they can't pick it up in the next few PPVs then there will be problems. If they get a deal on TV done, the production value will go up and it will feel professional rather than a home movie. We really all should hope that there iwill be more MMA for us to watch. The more MMA, the better. Just because it's not as good as the UFC right off the get go, we should still give it a good once over. If the WFA survives it's good for all of us MMA fans.

Only if the fighters can rise far enough above the corps that run the belts if not we will keep running into stuff like the Wandy/Chuck fiasco. But all in all I hope the WFA does well. I just want the fighters to rise above the companys so we can see somone like Mayhem fight Diego or something.

If you have one dominant organisation it automaticly leads to stagnation (huh, that rymes). While several organisations make champion vs campion match-ups unlikly it is a proven fact that competition is a good thing for a consumer.

But this isnt their first event. Between 2001 and 2002 they had 3 events before calling it quits. I honestly believe they're only trying to get it up off the ground again because they're trying to feed off the MMA interest that the UFC has created. But how long can they last? They probably lost money last show and their only source of revenue is PPVs...which seem to be 3 months apart.

They have a big name from pride but that don't mean shit because no one cares about pride in the US
