I just had the same discusion with my father-in-law. I was watching the best of UFC 2007 and he says I don't like this stuff they spend most there time on the ground wrestling, so its not interesting, but I tried to explain thats where alot of people are wrong, anyone for the most part can stand in front of eachother and get punched in the head, but to work someone over on the ground takes real skill, I said that most my favorite fights are when people are rolling. Most people just do not understand the underlying dimensions of the ground game and all the other aspects of MMA. Guranteed alot more boxers get brain damage then MMA fighters, seems how a good majority end with submissions, and theres no 10 count to give a guy a chance to get up and get pumbled some more.
