| What one fight had you most on the edge of your seat?
This thread was inspired by part of my response in this thread.
Which one fight, when you watched it live (or on TiVo sort of delay when you didn't know the result), had you most on the edge of your seat and why?
For me it's clear (as posted in that thread), so I don't need to take space reiterating it It was Hughes-Penn II.
There have been other great ones. The fifth round of Couture-Sylvia I was really on the edge of my seat hoping Tim didn't pull a lucky punch out of thin air and burst the balloon of a million fans' building anticipation.
I was on the edge of my seat for the entire Diego-Fitch fight especially when Diego sank in the triangle - but that hardly counts because Diego is my favorite fighter. When he fights I get as jittery as Dork gets when Franklin fights.
There are others too but I'm interested to hear yours...let's relive the drama together

Both Wand v Hendo fights for me obviously, my eyes started burning when watching those fights because I was afraid to blink.

I agree. Even through a drunken haze, I was on the edge for the whole freaking fight. Close second would be GG vs. CC, I was just waiting for that damn kick. Well, it came.....

Recently I have to say Couture/Sylvia and Forest/Rua... but all time... I think Forest/Bonnar I.... That was an amazing fight, especially for free...

Nog/Herring 3, which was pretty much just me being paranoid
Gomi/Diaz, Shogun/Lil Nog, Karo/Diego and I expect Silva/Liddell will soon be added to that list.

Roger Huerta Vs. Clay Guida after seeing the determination in Huerta's eyes at the beginning of the third round, you knew something was going to happen

That fight was good, but it never seemed like either guy was on his way out. That's what keeps me on the edge of my seat.

I was watching with my wife, and I said, this is going as planned, guida just has to avoid getting caught. Then he got caught, and i was at the edge of my seat yelling at the tv for him to work his way through the "haze" though he never did, and then got tapped. fuck i'm still sore over this one.
for rampage chuck in the ufc i was on the edge of my seat, but only b/c i was watching it with a bunch of people at a friends' house that didn't know shit about mma, so i told them rampage would kill chuck, so i wanted page to back me up, and he did, thank god.
As far as straight competitive fights, i have to say recently page v. hendo was insane.
