Default armbar question

Can you break a guy's arm if your back is flat on floor? You can't do it in a footlock, right?

edit: flor --> floor

I mean if you have a firm grip but you can't arch your back fully backward because of floor.

It matters what you are saying is a little vague. But you can use your legs to tork him down on the other side if I am understanding you right???

Yes yes, perfect grip with limb extended and your legs in a good position on opponents body.

you want your back on the mat.Your supposed to lock the arm in between the legs pull down on the wrist and raise up your hips causing friction in the middle of the arm causing the opponent to tap or have his arm broken.
