| On Sherk getting a title shot when he comes back: Should he?
Am I the only one who thinks Sean Sherk should NOT get a title shot in his immediate return to the UFC? I'm not all that sure if his suspension is still on trial, so to speak, or whether this committee or that has ruled on it - I got sick of the story and kinda got over it.
But - Well, has it been confirmed that he'll get a title shot pending the winner of BJPenn vs. Joe Stevenson? And if it has been confirmed - Am I the only one who doesn't like it? Just on the basis of a road back to a title? In recent memory, Andrei Arlovski's the only one who hasn't had to fight at least once before getting a title shot (after losing it) - And in Sean Sherk's case, Sherk's got a steroid test over his head!
Anyone think he shouldn't be getting too quick a pass to the title, all things considered?

Anyone think he shouldn't be getting too quick a pass to the title, all things considered? | I think i did hear that he is going to get a title shot upon his return to the octagon. i think there was some questions behind whether or not he did indeed test postive because his normal amount of (something i don't know the excat chemical or w/e) but it was only a small amount above the normal persons so thats why he got a reduced sentence. I may be totally wrong i just thought i read somewhere that it was the case.
If someone thinks they know what i am talking about however actaully knows the details please let me know.... i think i should go to bed after this awful post.

he was the champion... enough said... yes he deserves the title shot based on the fact the he was the champion... imo he never took the steroids and shouldn't have been stripped but that is done and it happened...

He better grow them to fight BJ Penn.
"Grow some balls and fight BJ Penn without steroids"- BJ Penn

Your body produces it naturally, but he tested for six times the standard maximum limit. I believe it was 2 ng (nanograms) per mL is the maximum and Sherk was 12 ng on their tests.
It is debatable because Sherk trains at least six times as hard as the average athletic person they probably used for some testing. But I doubt sure that equally translates into Nandrolone production by the body.
IMO he does it in cycles and just didn't give it enough time, maybe he usually gets away with it 'cuz he waits JUST long enough, and just got popped finally.
p.s. That shit causes erectile dysfunction, so I hope Sherk's wife is content with the money and Sherk's flacid self.

In case you couldn't tell by my post...
No, I don't think he should get a shot at the title right away. He needs to fight at least one good fight, with a negative drug tust (none of the foreign shows they do where they don't have to test!!!
*****EDIT***** JUST READ THE RULES ON DOUBLE POST>>>SORRY>>>MY BAD

no point in making him work back up to get a title shot. he dominated both his title defenses against 2 of the top guys at lw, and imo he didnt knowingly take steroids. so give the guy a break.
sherk vs penn is a super dream match too

Anyone think he shouldn't be getting too quick a pass to the title, all things considered? | I really don't care that he used steroids, and I don't think he is a bad guy.
That said I be really happy never to see Sherk in the UFC or any other MMA organization again.
He offers nothing in line of fighting, when he fights I leave the room, come back 15 -25 minutes later and surprised he won a decision.
People don't pay $50 bucks to watch a fighter lay and pray the whole fight.
I rather watch guys like Clay Guida, Roger Huerta, Tyson Griffin,Gilbert Melendez.
