...Japs...that's very nice of you, anybody seen a bigot around here?
Just look at who the champions are in each category, and you'll notice a very wide spectrum of races you ignorant moron!
I think most educated people will agree with me that we watch MMA fights because of the high level of competition, technique and overall excitment, it's just more exciting than boxing.
In terms of which is better UFC or Pride, it comes down to names, who has the bigger names, because in all truth in UFC you might not recognize half the fighters in a card, but that doesn't mean that they will not have good matches or put great efforts, it's just that in Pride, it's almost guaranteed that you will have exciting action. Overall Pride is just more exciting, but that doesn't mean that UFC is not good. It's just easier to bash.

K-1 has good fighters but they really don't have that much depth to their roster, it is basically the same guys fighting on every show. And they don't have much of anything as far as HW, WW or LHW divisions. Plus they have just as many freak show matches as Pride.

that pretty much sums it up.

I rather enjoy the freak shows, it allows a fighter to really display his skills in front of the world against a person he doesn't look like he should beat. before he fights someone on his same level.

| What do you think of this????
How about each organization gets the top two fighters in each weight class, and have all of the fighters in the whole competition broke into two camps, team UFC and team Pride. Each camp would train together and have this as an annual event, say around Christmas time. Not only would the fights be incredible but it would help the sport grow to a new level. I'm sure the pay per view might cost a little more, but with the price being higher maybe they could talk everyone into fighting if they were compensated a little better. It's just a stupid fight that would probably never happen, but if it did, then it would really be like the Super Bowel of MMA and I think the fans deserve to see it...
