BJ probably asked Hermes to come train with him, because he wants to roll with a fighter who has known BJJ skills. Stevenson is a great grappler, Penn knows this, and wants to train with the best because he knows damn well the fight will go to the ground. plus since Franca admitted he cheated, im sure BJ has much more respect for him.

If that is the case, then BJ is being forgiving and not hypocritical in anyway.

so, while it may look hypocritical at first, it really isn't IMO.

How is taking roids to heal faster not a competitive edge??? Franca takes roids to heal faster and fights at 100%, or Franca doesn't take roids and fights at 85%......sounds like a competitive edge to me.

Some people seem to think that Franca roiding in july means him being in top shape now. It´s not like you´re going to have advantage over every opponent for rest of your career if you use them once.
B.J doesn´t probably want Hermes to teach him enything, just to have a bjj blackbelt and good mma grappler simular to Joe daddys size to roll with. He´s not going to work his groung game with Troy Mandaloniz you know. =)
