Damn! Talk about lauzon being thrown to the wolves.
I think this will be one helluva dynamic fight, but I would have liked to have seen Joe get another fight or two before being tossed in with Ken-Flo. Guess its Joe Silva's way of thinning the thickening LW herd. With 20 guys all in the Top 10 picture something needs to be worked out.

I'm pumped for this fight. A match-up of New England's 2 best 155ers!!! It's gonna be sick. I like Kenny, but I'm pulling for Joe.

I'll go with everybody and say that Lauzon will be good someday, but hes not ready for Kenny right now. Still, you never know how much he will improve by training with BJ, and I dont think that Dana would give him a fight he didnt have much of a chance of winning, so maybe Dana (or J. Silva) know more about how much Lauzon has improved than we do.

great fight. kinda puts joe in a weird position if he wins and penn gets the belt because they train together and a win over florian would put lauzon in the top 3 title contenders. it'll be interesting to see if joe will fight bj

Joe has KO power, but i'm going with Florian on this. Better in almost every aspect of the game.
and i agree with Palma, Diaz or Manny should get a caliber of a fight like this.
Manny vs Florian would be very Sherk vs Florian esque, and i'd give the fight to Manny. Definitley a Decision win.

IMO, I think Joe will be ready for this Fight, for the mere fact dat he has been training w/ BJ Penn. There is only room for more potential training w/ BJ .

I have to pick kenflo, even though I really like joe, well both of them for that matter. Should be a good fight though. Hopefully we see some thai defense from Jlau, as that is the striking kenny will be throughing at him come their fight. Should be a good fight, but i would have picked kenflo to fight somone like edgar first as that would have been a good fight to put into contendership after sherk. I think huerta has at least one more, if not two major fights before getting into a title shot. Although it is smart of him to take this 8months off, as it will thin out the division ALOT by the time he comes back to fighting.

WOW, this is a match up i never saw coming!
this is a hard fight for Joe, it sucks to say. i picked Florian here. as good a fighter as Joe is, i think Kenny is just that much more well rounded. ill be pulling for Joe even though i think Kenny takes this one.

I don't like KenFlo omg! did he change his name yet but Joe is one of those silent but very skillful and KenFlo omg! has those elbows of course and BJJ is pretty on point should be a good one.
