Forrest Griffin- 2-0 beat Hector Ramirez in one of his worst fights and shocked the world by submitting Shogun
Tito Ortiz- 0-0-1- Drawed Rashad Evans in a fight I felt he should have won. and wtf hes not fighting no more.
Patrick Cote- 3-0 beat Scott Smith at ufc 67 by decision and knocked out one of the best up and comers Kendall Grove, beat Jason Day
Frank Shamrock 1-1- Got a bullshit DQ to Renzo Gracie which hes gonna revenge by knocking him out imo and he beat Phil Baroni
Tanakori Gomi 0-1 got submitted by gogo to nick diaz who I also like.
Chris Lytle 2-2 Got screwed by the doctor and layed on by matt hughes. beat Gilliam and Matt Brown
Kenny Florian 3-0 bounced back strong after loss to sherk.
Roger Huerta 5-0 in my opinion most exciting fighter of the year and future lightweight champ
Newly Favorites- Michael Bisping even tho im not sure why, and alot of ppl from the tuf 5 cast even tho I hated most of the tuf 6 cast, Rampage because hes the man

I haven't been happy with Andre Arlovski. His two fights since Timmah, one in 2006 and one in 2007, have been less than steller. He's won them both, but he just doesn't look like the same fighter he was before Tim caught him. I forgave him for that 3rd fight with Timmah and though he was just being overly cautious; but he's still fighting timidly. I wish he'd get his old spirit back; that ferocious scary motherfucker I remember. I hope 2008 shows the return of that AA.

I was in mourning the week GSP lost his belt to Serra.
Anderson Silva is an absolute beast.
Rampage is the man!
Props to Forrest for bouncing back nicely.
I don't know what it was i saw i Huerta, but I couldn't believe there were so many fans picking Guida to win that fight. That fight was great!! It shared the spotlight with Mayweather /Hatton and dwarfed their show in my opinion. Definitely FOY candidate!
I love Chuck and am rooting for him this Saturday, but I chose Rampage to beat him so I can't really be upset about his year.
I am actually extremely happy with my recent fantasy performances. Since 2007 was the year of upsets, I did poorly at in the first three quarters, but I have picked 15 winners from the last 18 UFC fights!

Forrest 2-0. - Great year for Forrest, beats the number one ranked lhw in the world, becomes the new coach on TUF and is getting a title shot.
Hughes could end up being a great year if he wins Saturday.
Wandy same as Hughes.
Machida - great year, could be even better if he wins Saturday.
Top 3 favorites AA, Forrest, Franklin. Forrest had the best year, Franklin will be back on top after losing to Anderson again, and hope AA will have a great 08.
Close to busting in the top 5 favs Fitch and Huerta both had amazing years. Both proved themselves
New fav Anderson Silva. After his fight with Franklin its so hard for me not to like him after coming to Franklin's locker room an saying sorry. How can you not like a guy that does that. Great year for Anderson as well.
Slowly leaving my favs is Tito, one fight an comes to a draw. He is leaving as a favorite because i am not sure how much longer he will be fighting.
Other fighters that i don't like but had a good year. Florian and Jardine.
most disliked fighter getting exposed Houston hehe.
sorry long post.

No one else mentioned Barnett. Skillwise he could be the best p4p fighter in the world and he always goes for the finish. This year i wathed every fight just for the performances and didn´t have a favourite fighter. Hopefully he comes back in great shape next year, fights and beats Fedor.
