I actually like Matt Hughes, but I don't think he should have written about a private conversation calling out his friend for his lack of work ethic & trying to get w/ a teammates girl. People that write tell-all books from the locker room always end up with enemies, because what's said/done in the locker room is supposed to stay there.

Nobody said they were any better, and when I was captain of my basketball & track teams in HS I got on kids much harder than this... but I never wrote, or even told people about it.

I'm not a Hughes fan, in fact I think he's a jerk alot of the time, that being said, I have no problem with this. He's writing a tell all book about his life, people would be pissed if he left stuff out.

First off he told Tim the truth, your lazy and don't work when your hurt. Nothing wrong with that, also, Tim bought his own ticket to Vegas when he wasn't invited and followed them around, what a moron, he should have been made to cry about that.

Tim asked what Hughes didn't like about him and he answered the question, obviously Tim took it to heart and did steroids to get better and be able to work through pain. God Hughes is sucha dick for being honest to Tim Sylvia.

I respect Hughes haha he is a sweet **** no doubt bout it, i know i wouldnt get along with him even tho im a farm boy, i drink alot of piss and grow dope so i wouldnt even bother trying to be his friend, but he is a monster in the cage and one of the most straight up people i have ever seen and its all part of his nature.
I say timmy was asking for it and should of seen it coming haha.

Hughes was not being a jerk he just told Tim he has to earn his respect as any coach or vet in any sport would do. And what happens to poor Timmy? he becomes a champion. He obviously earned respect.

This is just a transcript and people are using it as a way to bust Matt's balls. I personaly like Matt and how he conducts himself, he pushes his fellow teamates to be their best however he needs to.

Matt Hughes isn't the most tactful person in the world. I don't think he's a bad guy, but his competitive nature seems to hurt any "team" he's a part of. He sees winning above everything else, which has both positive and negative aspects to it. His inability keep peace or accept that not everyone will work as hard as him tends to result in conflict with others and give the impression of supreme arrogance.
