I'm just ready for a damn war and thats what I want no matter who wins. I dont really see Chuck needing to change a whole lot in his normal fighting style against a fighter like Wand anyways. I'm sure he did some minor changes and is hopefully more mentally focused and aggressive like we are hearing. Wand is an aggressive fighter that comes at you. Liddell's bread and butter is counter-striking which will maybe play well for him in this fight. Wand is coming of 2 viscous KO losses and that tells us that Chuck is very capable of knocking Wand out and for sure capable of rocking him. It goes both ways though because Wand can do the same to Chuck. It's going to come down to which fighter connects first. Should be interesting.

Fighters have finally realized that if you don't charge him like a taser'd crack whore, you can have your own gameplan and work him over. It was clear that Liddell was getting frustrated in the latter half of the Ortiz fight. Tito even had him nearly mounted with hooks in.
And when Rampage threw his hands up in the middle of the fight to protest Chuck's constant retreating, that's when Chuck fell apart and made his mistake. Jardine simply refused to charge at Liddell recklessly, and worked him over with kicks.
Chuck's losing cause he's been figured out and the wiser fighters have adapted to him. | apparently i need to watch this fight again, because i dont recall 1 time where tito was even close to mounting chuck, i remembewr 1 time tito dragging chuck to down on top of him and then chuck standing right back up, but nowhere near mounted, and there were no hooks

He was trying to work his hooks in there but his grip slipped and he got off.
Perhaps I had not made myself clear, sorry.

Jackson and Jardine both strategized their attacks to neutralize Chuck's game. Normally, I would say a change of style would be in order, but not against Wanderlei. In every fight prior to this one, Wanderlei has always rushed his opponents with flurries. This plays perfectly to Chuck's style of counterpunching during openings. Unless Wanderlei is willing to change up his attack plan, I'd say Chuck has an excellent chance of taking this one.

why do people care about this fight. These guys both suffered bad loses and they are both dinosours, Wand looks like hes fucking 65 years old and is half the size he was. Chuck has shown that anyone who can stay right in front of him will kick the shit out of him. Chuck has less conditioning then butter bean. Yet you people consider this a big fight. The hell is wrong with you guys?

If Chuck hasn't properly prepared for that, then this could end like Silva/Franklin.
