Gracie 1.3 Mil for fight??

If its true Dana spent 1.3 mill for Gracie I think he would have been better served getting a Brock Lesnar to fight for a fraction that cost. If the thought was PPV buys Brock is much more marketable to the WWF crowd and he probably could have got a big crossover WWF fan base.

If not Brock, maybe someone along those lines, I think you know where I am going with this, any opinions???

Yeah I know what you mean. The UFC does not want any prowrestler in their cage. Now for getting someone that is cheaper, I agree. That 1.3 mil was for K1 and Gracie, so Gracie didnt get all that money.

I may have to say that one pro wrestler would have a chance... Kurt Angle... the only reason being is he is an Olympic Gold Medalist... but other than that, never, and i doubt even Kurt... in Pride perhaps it would, but not UFC

I'll have the official numbers by the end of next week most likely. The rumored number for Royce was 1.3-1.5 million dollars. That figure has been floating around since the fight was first signed. We've actually already talked about that on here a good bit I think.

Well the 1.3 million was Gracie's purse, K-1 just gets a percentage of it. Wasn't like they had to pay K-1 this much and Gracie this much. They do the pay out, K-1 since they represent Gracie handles what money goes where.
