Hes got alot of motivation in this fight they both do but IMO Chucks style is perfect to beat Wand the only thing is how much punishment he can take before he lands that big counter. Even though his track record with great strikers is less than stellar I still see Chuck pullin this one out.

I really hope this doesn't turn into Chuck vs Guy Mezger.
In no way im comparing Wandy to Mezger though.

As someone said above, Wandy looks bigger because they're roughly the same weight and Wandy is shorter.
Chuck's got reach, the counter skill, and unless Chuck makes another foolish mistake like he did against Rampage, then I see Wandy getting starched like a dress shirt before the 2nd round is over.
I love watching both these guys, but considering Wandy fights like a rabid dog and Chuck seems to go to town on people who chase him for the kill, I tip the scales in Chuck's favour. Jardine only beat Liddell because he backed off and DIDN'T go for the finishing flurry. I don't see too many options for Wandy to win, except via decision like Jardine did or a lucky KO shot.
If we see a varied spin on Chuck's usual tactics, I say the Iceman wins this hands down. And if he loses, this might be the humlbing someone who "loves to fight" needs to reinvent, or retire. And I can't see Chuck retiring just yet.

HOLY SHIT Chuck looks ripped. He must WANT THIS BAAAAAD. I just don't know who to pick in this one. Damnit!
Edit: Hasn't Wandy been training a little with Team Couture? Do they lose?

Chuck's never looked bad. Sure he's had that keg/six-pack hybrid thing going on but he's always been in shape. I don't remember him gassing or arriving for a match unprepared. Honestly I don't care if he's tight, compact like corned beef in the mid-section he needs to put his hands up and block on occasion.

But think of what it means mindset-wise that he is f-ing ripped... When his drive is up and he's not listening to his own hype, he's back to that sort of scary machine that existed over the past four years. I mean he was so smug about the Jardine fight, and actually, about the Rampage fight too. He REALLY thought he had those in the bag. His interviews for this fight seem to be much more focused and grounded.

what was this incident that happened at weigh in with them?
From UFC:
If Wanderlei Silva had any questions about how he would be welcomed back to the UFC for the first time in seven years, they were answered with a resounding roar during the weigh-ins for his Saturday superfight with Chuck Liddell, and ‘The Axe Murderer’ responded enthusiastically, ripping off his t-shirt during the ritual staredown at the packed Mandalay Bay Events Center, and even going after the former UFC light heavyweight champion after being on the receiving end of a gesture from the normally cool ‘Iceman’.
Order was quickly restored between the fighters

Not taking anything away from chuck but he is to one dimensional and all he has is his right. What else does he bring to the table? Not much IMO. The sport is slowly passing Chuck and if he does not add more depth to his game he is not going to win much at all anymore. IMO he has just the punchers luck to win this and also IMO that will not happen, Wandy is to smart of a fighter and to expirenced. Wandy in round 1
I do not think for one second that Chuck thought he had either Rampage or Jardine in the bag as someone stated above. I think he took them as serious as any fight and after losing the first one to Rampage you mean to tell me you think he was going to under estimate his next opponent in Jardine as well. I do not think so chuck is not dumb. He lost because he did not have a better all around game plan or game in general.
