| Liddell vs. Wandy ***SPOILER***
Welcome back, Chuck!
Chuck looked like the dominant Chuck that we all saw not that long ago. It was a great fight - very entertaining. Wandy fought well, and despite this loss, I believe he will do well in the UFC. I didn't realize he is only 31...........many years ahead of him.
And how about Chuck with the takedown?!?!?!?!

lol yeah ,I was shocked to see Chuck with the take downs. I think he did it for points but I was glad to see it. Chuck was even mixing some kicks in there, holy shit! He wanted this bad. Tony Robbins must have done him some good. lol

man awesome fight, i really hope wand comes back in the same way, but ive never seen that look in chucks eyes for a long long time, that was a fucking game iceman. Im really glad it was as competitive as it was, and im also glad to see wands chin aint as suspect as everybody thinks. Anyways, good to see chucks in good order and i hope big things form him, wand can start rebuilding now, i really hope he wins his next fight and like 18 after that. War WAND 4 ever..

I have never seen Chuck do the take down stuff; maybe the guy is evolving. He's normally a reactionary fighter, which is why he lost to Jardine. Jardine was using kicks and waiting on Chuck as well; forcing Chuck to come to him. I think Chuck would take him now; assuming he kept the changes to his game. Jardine's stand up is really weird and through him off. Of course I won't say that Chuck would destroy him; Jardine's earned that respect. But I would like to see them fight again, to see if the outcome would be different.

Man, all the years of debating in here and we finally got to see it tonight. This was an awesome fight both of these guys took some huge shots on the chin but Chuck just kept dishing it out. It was maybe two or three times that I thought Chuck could've finished Wandy but instead of running in with his arms wide open and just looping punches he remained calm and picked his spots, great fight for Chuck and I'm glad to see that even he can switch up his gameplan every now and then.

The fight was kept at distance I was hoping wand was gonna get in close and knee!!! Like he did with rampage oh well he still delivered in my eyes chuck gave silva everything he had and he didn't knockout silva I see a rematch in the future...

WOW! Whatever Chuck was doing since the Jardine fight it played out GREAT for him! He looked like the old Chuck mentally and was even pulling out some shit we have not seen in a long time. Throwing kicks, going for takedowns and finishing and then the spinning back fist!?! lol. It was like Chuck was doing it on purpose to shut people up about saying he does not know how to do shit else but counter strike. Anyways I loved it but I will say that Wand did not look like the usual Wand. I think after that first hard blow that rocked him he was a lot more cautious throughout the next 2 rounds. His face was re-arranged after the fight.

Man.... I've been waiting for this night for four and a half years and it was everything I dreamt it to be! I took so much shit for saying that Chuck would take Wanderlei; nobody believed it.... The thing is Chuck did not learn these new skills in the last four months; he's always had them, he just didn't believe that he needed to use them because he wanted to stand and knock people out at any cost. I said it after the Jardine fight that the sport has not passed Chuck by, he just needed to utilize his skills and go back to the Chuck of old. Tonight he was fully focused, in shape, and hungry like he hasn't been since the Randy fights, and I just hope that he keeps that new found intelligence and gameplanning to go on another serious run. I said that in order for Chuck to continue to win and compete into his later years as a fighter he would need to take apage from Couture's playbook and find ways to gameplan and win fights using his head. That's exactly what I saw against Wandy and I've never been so impressed with him. On a side note, Wandy is a great fighter and should have an awesome career in the UFC. He was probably a little over-trained for this fight because he was so amped for so long to fight this fight. Where does the division stand at this point?

It doesn't matter if you don't like them; Anderson Silva and Floyd Mayweather Jr. are the best at what they do and it's not even close. The only way to shut them up is to beat them in the ring.

A very exciting fights indeed. I give props to both fighters for entertaining the fans and doing what the hype was suppose to be about. But most props to the Ice Man Chuck Liddell. He stuck to his bread and butter this time and came out victorious. Im glad it wasnt a bullshit decision this time around. Chucks reach played a big part of his roll tonite because Silva was having a hard time gettin inside. But wenever he did get inside he landed blows but also taking some himself . The couple seconds of those two slugging up toe to toe was great. Each of them took nice clean blows to the face. When Chuck had Silva against the cage and bombing on him, it made me want to jump out of my seat. For Silva i think its most important that he lost by decision rather than being KOed. It would bad if he would have gotten fuked up by tko a third time. Excellent way to end 2007 and pleasing the fans !
