Default Did Kazushi Sakuraba tap to Royce Gracie?
I have just finished watching the clip in the video and photo section, and i saw sakuraba tap. Why was Royce Gracie not declared victor? Did it have to do with bias?

sak did tap, if he was serious or not who knows, i guess the ref didn't see it.

He clearly tapped twice. What I've heard is that the ref didn't see the tap.

This is the answer I got from the same question on sherdog:

No. Although, he tapped, it was to signal that an accidental foul did not hurt him and he could not continue. Both he and Royce have acknowledged this.

Thanks for the info. Explains why we didn't hear the Gracies screaming bloody murder.
