First off I like to say Sokoudjou losing to Machida isn't that bad, no one has figured out how to beat this guy, not Franklin nor Penn.

How do you beat this guy? And who do you think can beat him?

I think an unorthodox fighter like chuck could beat him, considering that machida's style is perfect against your standard fighter, he might be confused against a fellow unorthodox striker.

Basically a fighter with really good standup and good TD Defense has a good shot at beating him imo....(chuck,page,wand,)

Chuck might have problems against Machida, as he'd be forced to go on the offensive, and Mach is a great counter striker. If Liddell could back him up against the cage and unleash some flurries, he could definitely KO him though.

Rampage would beat him somewhat soundly IMO. Very aggressive, good strikes and great wrestling, strong as hell, a combination that seems tailor-made to beat Mach.

If he'd beaten Rampage in the rematch, I might agree with you; he'd have had nothing left to prove in the division until they signed Wandy, except maybe facing Hendo. But after dropping the title to Rampage, then losing to Jardine, and now getting his groove back against Silva, he's got a couple of things left to prove at 205.

I seriously think he could make one last run at the title.

I think Page would destroy this guy in less than five minutes. He's got the tools and technique in his arsenal. Not to take nothing away from Machida, but Rampage is the answer.

I would like to start off saying that Machida is the shit and not a single person in the UFC would "destroy" him.

Yes, it is very possible, most would say probable, that Rampage would beat Machida. It would be a great fight, as would be any fight with a top competitor.

All I know is that Machida deserves to fight the best. Ive been saying it for a while now, I think he will be champ one day
