i don't think it was the same music for victories as Pride. but they had the same entrance cameras, lights, the ref's wore white shirts (all the old Prode refs and jidges including matt hume) blue gloves, white ring/ropes, ring announcers. you could have taken the show and intercut it with any pride show of the last 3 years and not tell the difference. it was a like seeing an old friend.

I think a lot of for me has to do with the japanese fans. They just seem to appreciate the fighters and whats going on in the fights a lot more then the majority of american fans. It just seems for the most part that many american fans just sit there get trashed and boo while waiting for somebody to get knocked out. I'd like to see a ufc card in japan again.
