| Fedor v Randy: good for UFC?
So, given that Fedor has said that he will wait for the Randy fight, does the UFC benefit from keeping the two top HW in the world fighters on ice?
I think yes. They can showcase younger, newer talent, which will pay off in the long run.
Fedor waiting for this fight is really depressing. What about Josh?

Fedor waiting for this fight is really depressing. What about Josh? | like every sport, the torch has to be passed on eventually. even if these two fight in 08, there's going to be someone younger, hungrier and stronger than them that comes along and beats them. you can't stay on top forever. randy's going to drop the ball if he fights again in the ufc. there's way too many guys that can take that strap off of him. same with fedor. if he came to the ufc and fought all of the top guys, there's no way he'd come out with a perfect record. so technically, no it's not good for the ufc. they should have these two fight just to settle the 'top' guy, and then move along. i see only circus fights in the future for fedor. fighting a giant and an old man right now, no matter how great they are, are just spectacles, and doesn't ideally prove anything with regards to who the best in the world is. randy isn't even regarded as one of the top two hws in a lot of rankings, even with the belt. so here's some scenarios to consider: if randy loses, they'll prove what everyone already knows, that fedor is the top guy and he'll keep fighting circus fights instead of legit contenders. if randy wins, fedor's status as #1 will be questioned until he actually comes to the ufc and beats real comp or cleans out the division. but this issue with fedor and randy is a lame duck because there's so much bureaucracy involved. |

IMO Randy can cement his legacy by fighting and winning the last two fights on his contract. I'd like to see the Fedor fight as much as anyone, but this whole fiasco isn't doing anyone any good.

Fedor/Randy is not only good for UFC, it's also good for the MMA Sport.

If Randy could win that fight, I would absolutely call him one of the best ever. Beating Fedor would be the ultimate but certainly not the only option. Oh well...

Why does Fedor have to sit out?
Can't he fight Giant Silva or Butterbean, or maybe Hulk Hogan in the mean time to keep his #1 ranking?

Id love to see Fedor vs Hogan. What a fight that'd be,Hogan can be choked out by Fedor, but he could also KO Fedor with the leg drop..interesting match up. I could see that drawing some huge buck, both men are giant killers,Fedor choked out fellow top 10 heavy weight,in the Honger, and Hogan slammed Andre the giant into oblivion.

I honestly think Dana White's gonna give in to a co-promoted event and do the fight before October. It seems like the fight is inevitable, so he might as well capitlize on it while he still has Randy under contract. Otherwise he makes nothing.
Or, he could just wait a few months 'til M1 crumbles and sign Fedor to a cheaper contract. Quote:

War Hulkamania | Fedor and Hogan will settle their score on the new American Gladiators (Co-promoted with the new Russian Gladiators featuring young, up-and-coming Red Devil contestants).

Cuban is an owner in the NBA too. So I'm sure he could set up Fedor in super matches with maybe Manute Bol, or maybe Yao Ming or something. There's endless possibilities until he's ready to fight Randy. |

Whether its in a cage, ring, battledome,or gladiator arena,as long as I see Fedor vs Hogan im in. It will also be very interesting to see how they match up in events against the new gladiators.
Militia looks like a cold blooded killa...
