LMFAO! this is where i feel Rampage is still highly underrated in here, if so many of you think Forrest is going to beat him. Rampage will be stronger, his hands are better, he's more explosive, and his wrestling is far far better. im not saying Forrest wont put up a good fight, but now is not the time he'll be LHW. i actually see one of Rampage's trademark slams happening finally

I'd like to see Randy finish out his contract. I don't care if he beats Nog, or Tim, or Fedor, or all three of them at the same time. He's been a such a great influence in sport, and I feel the same way now that I did when Barry Sanders punked out on the NFL. Each day that goes by does as much damage to his legacy than a gamely fought loss would, in my opinion.

I'd like Fedor to fight Barnett.

I'd like for M1 not to be as corrupt as I think it is.

I'd like to see the UFC interim titles resolved, and never hear the term again.

I'd like Hendo and A. Silva to be healthy and focused enough to give us the fight they are capable of giving us.

I'd like to watch Serra and GSP fight, but with the sound off. Afterwards, I'd like them each to be as respectful as GSP/Hughes were after their rubber match.

I'd like more coaching and less melodrama on the new season of TUF. Both coaches have the charisma and--if not the innate coaching skill, they at least have connections--it would be great not to have an entire episode devoted to scatology, like last time.

I'd like each title holder to defend their title minimally every 8 months.

I'd like to see Mirko Filipovick find redemption in the cage.

I'd like to see Arlovski find his aggression again.

I'd like to see Brad Imes get another gogoplata, but not as sloppy this time.

I'd like to see JZ/Aoki.

I'd like Evan Tanner, Vitor Belfort, and Frank Mir to make successful comebacks.

I'd like Mike Swick to do well at WW.

I'd like to have enough patience to find Goldie amusing.

I'd like Tito to decide if he's going to be an actor, or a fighter.

I'd like my rankings to go all the way to 20.

I'd like to see the Yellow Card in the UFC.

I'd like the industry to be steroid-free.

I'd like consistent and accurate judging and officiating.

I'd like fans to stop booing at live events.


I expect...well, I expect to be disappointed on more than a few of these. But stranger things have happened, and here's to 2008, regardless...

My top 3 fighters.

GSP- will beat Serra in Montreal(I will be there live to make sure) then defend his unified title against Karo and Fitch. After going 3-0 with all victories being of the dominating variety we will confirm him as the #1 P4P fighter in MMA. Rumors of move to 185 will be rampant at this point next year. The UFC will encourage this in order to have a TUF with Anderson Silva and GSP as coaches.

BJ Penn - will continue to talk shit and back it up. Stevenson will go down via omaplata. Next up Sherk will realize 2 minutes into round 1 that if Hughes and GSP had that much trouble taking Penn down without the use of steroids there is an lesser chance that he can do it. Penn via decision. Penn's final challenger of the year will be a young up and comer with a win streak full of exciting fights(too many in LW division to figure who it'll be). Once again Penn will show his amazing skills and win by RNC.

Tito Ortiz - Ortiz will go far but not win Celebrity Apprentice. Hate will continue from both the internet and UFC brass. Anything less than a stellar performance in his first fight of the year (I'm thinking July - August) will have everyone including his hardcore fans strongly questioning whether he or not he can ever regain top 5 skills. He's still young but another generation of fighters is coming up strongly (Griffin, Jardine, Evans).

I'd like for Henderson to beat A.Silva in dominating fashion, destroy Rich Franklin, and then beat A.Silva again to close out '08.

I want to see Gilbert Melendez come back in dominant fashion against Josh Thomson. Then fight and destroy KJ Noons.

I hope the Shamrocks finally fight each other.

And lastly, I hope Evan Tanner finds his old form, gets a couple of wins in the Octagon, and gets his life back on track.
